Swimming Memoir

My legs shivered and my hands quivered as I held my breath… “No, not yet I can't  do it yet!” But just as I said that my friend pushed me in! Blub, blub, blub, blub. I grabbed the edge of the pool just in time to grab a gasping breath. That was one of the only times that I was glad to be in dry land.  I was so scared to get back in but I jumped in anyway. I took one last gasping breath as my head plunges under.

What was running through my head was that I wanted to scream but I knew that I couldn’t due to me being under water. I was 80% under water and was sinking fast. I felt something grab my arm and I shut my eyes. I felt like breathing in so I did it anyway cause I knew that I was going to die.

“Ouch!” I yelled. My mum asked me if I was O K. I said yes  and I jumped in saying 1,2,3 Go. (I couldn’t swim so went back to drowning.)
“O, Come on! So dry land is where I stayed for the rest of the day (apart from when I jumped in and started drowning again)
