RECYCLE - WHY BOTHER?

Dear Mrs Warner and Green Team,

I feel disappointed and angry that people feel the urge to drop rubbish, not put it in the bin and that they just walk past rubbish without picking it up.

Firstly, it is not hard to put things in the right bin . Soft plastics go in the soft plastic bin, paper goes in the paper bin. It is not as hard  as it looks. (not that it looks hard at all.)If it ends up later on that the floor is rubbish it’s going to be all our fault.

Secondly, the facts. When you put things in the bin it goes to landfill. At landfill every thing is mushed together in a big hole. The  opposite to landfill is a recycle centre where it gets melted down. Otherwise in say 10 -15 Years we could forget about it  and next thing you know you could have houses on top of the landfill.

Thirdly ,what can we do? Well we can sort things into soft plastic, paper and recycling. When you go shopping should you use plastic or fabric bags? Well I say fabric. We have to be way more careful about what we do with our rubbish.

So what do you say Green Team get green with me and recycle!

Sincerely
Samara Parker

Chameleons

Hi today I am going to be telling you about chameleons. Chameleons are so cute and cool. They (as you know) change colour .... but not for the reasons you think. Chameleons change colour because of there feeling - not surrounding.

Chameleons are a very interesting animal. I like the way there eyes can move 90 degrees in any direction, pretty cool, ha.

The Lego Show

On the holidays I went to a very interesting Lego show. They had made a giant Sydney Opera House, Koala and a hot air balloon. You also had an opportunity to buy some Lego. You got to take some photos of you with some Lego Movie characters, in a Star Wars scene or in a car. It was very fun.
This was the Sydney Opera house
